This month has flown by! They say time flies when you’re having fun and we certainly have had an enjoyable time here at Kaptcha.

August has been full of action, heading up into the sky on a hot air balloon with Legal & General Workplace Pensions, to launching into space with BAE Systems. The Space project is an awareness brand video for BAE Systems venture into space.

We were approached by BAE Systems Digital Intelligence to come up with a concept that could deliver all the touch points and cover a list of items without feeling too corporate. In allowing us some creativity, the resulting film has mesmerising visuals where BAE’s leaders seamlessly explore space while sharing their intelligence on how capability in space can present as an opportunity with benefits to mankind as well as a defence necessity. Aiding us to build a better, safer world for the next generation.

In the production of this film we overlayed graphics, for this to happen we filmed in a blacked-out studio. Our Creative team produced a storyboard in order to plan every shot precisely, so our contributor’s interaction with the graphical elements looked authentic.

In sync with the graphics, we replicated the light in the studio, passing various light sources across our contributors’ eyeline to mimic the passing of planets or the illumination of virtual holographic screens we used to present footage shot at BAE’s In-Space missions HQ.

As September approaches, we are looking forward and planning Kaptcha’s next steps as a growing agency. We are welcoming a new face to the Kaptcha team, Chris Newcombe (pictured below), our Sales Director who will be joining the team from mid-September, and we can’t wait to see what exciting new projects he brings to our table!

We are proud to announce the re-launch of our YouTube channel!

Over the past week, we’ve been busy giving our YouTube channel a makeover, pulling together our favourite case studies, gathering testimonials and even creating some of our own content internally (stay tuned to find out more).

Our Vimeo channel has also been updated. Check out some of our recent content.
