The client

Barclays is a diversity champion and has been associated with football’s Premier League for over 20 years.

The brief

Barclays is using the power of its top-flight football reach to promote diversity with its “Game Changing” campaign.

The bank approached Kaptcha to make a film featuring BBC’s Alex Scott, to head up a publicity drive featuring Women in Football and Barclays’ role in supporting them.

Creative with Purpose

‘Meet The Game Changers’ is a series profiling key women involved in football, on and off the pitch.

Proud to help our client live their values, to make the headline film, we used an all-female 12-person crew (film has been too male-oriented in the past, too!)
Despite being able to use a premier league stadium for the shoot and only having one day of filming, we also used grassroots footage to show that progress happens from the ground up.

The result is a teaser film which drives interest, promotes women in football and proudly bears the Premier League logo.

Barclays is the lead sponsor of the Women’s Super League, Europe’s first fully professional women’s football league, and also the lead partner to Women in Football.

This film is designed to support and champion these relationships at the heart of the women’s game.

“Working with Kaptcha was a really great experience. The dedicated nature of the team was fantastic, and from a client service perspective I couldn’t have asked for a more engaged and collaborative team. Working to deliver the brief to our requirements (i.e. full female crew, tight timescales), the Kaptcha team were nimble and highly effective – and worked tirelessly to produce some really strong creative work.”
